Our Post Inspection Service

Once the inspection has been carried out, a full colour report will be provided to you. The report lists all items inspected on site and provides a detailed analysis of any item deemed to be emitting excessive heat.

The Report Includes:

  • Location and details of equipment scanned
  • Details of temperatures emitted relative to ambient temperature
  • A thermal and a standard image of each piece of equipment surveyed that emitted a temperature that was considered to be a possible risk
  • Possible cause of excessive temperature
  • Risk areas
  • Explanation and recommendations for any further investigation required or remedial action to be taken.

Frequency of Inspections

Inspections should be performed annually in commercial buildings as well as manufacturing plants. All cable runs, bus ducts,  distribution panels, motor control centres, etc need to be checked for hot spots or heat imbalances to improve the reliability and longevity of any electrical component.

In the interest of the environment these reports are provided in electronic format. Hard copies will be provided upon request.
